Of all the types of couple and family portrait sessions, Lifestyle shoots are easily my favorites. The best photos come when people are most relaxed, and it’s hard not to be relaxed on a lovely day out and about. That’s what we did when the Stürms visited for the mother’s birthday, hoping to give her a proper “New York experience.” And a New York experience was certainly what they got, from visits to Chinatown to a run-in with the cops to riding the subway to getting yelled at by a random motorist.
