Ana & Ariel, my latest couchsurfers. Where Yuriy was in the middle of his cross-country roadtrip and Jo was at the end of her eight month world sojourn, Ana & Ariel are just about to set out on a two month trip to Southeast Asia.

One of the things I enjoy most about hosting surfers (other than getting to meet people and hear their stories) is getting to live vicariously through them. One day I’ll set out on my own world tour, but until that day comes it’s nice to talk to people in the middle of theirs. It helps keep the flame of wanderlust alive.
