Not an exceptional photo or anything, but I like it because I didn’t sight it. I had the camera on my knee as I sat directly across him on the BART, pointed it in his general direction, and just shot. Considering the range, how little margin of error I had, and how much he takes up the frame, it was actually pretty well-composed for something I just shot from the knee.
I wish it’d been a touch more in focus and I wish that book hadn’t been there to eat up so much of the shot, but all things considered it came out pretty nicely and I’m happy with it.
