Another shot from this weekend’s visit to the Academy of Sciences. I have no idea what kind of fish this is, but he’s one ugly dude. The fake coral on top of his head makes him kinda punk rock, but he’s still ugly.

While I was out yesterday, I passed a film crew shooting a commercial for Fidelity. A few of us hung around in the back, watching the shooting and basically being lookie loos. Took this while in the Powell area earlier today. A family was watching a street drummer play, and the kid was really getting into it, dancing and everything. I snapped when the drummer stopped to wave at the kid, who waved back. I thought it made for a nice picture. My d700 finally arrived. Another shot from yesterday's session, also shot with the rented 14mm. The name comes courtesy of Marc, the one on the left. Personally I think it reminds me of those bad 80s Western Kung-Fu movies where, after defeating the evil master, they turn to go home and find their way blocked by a few dozen evil underlings.
