Taken from the first program of the 2008 Bay Area One Acts festival. The first program ended its run this past Sunday.
My piece is in the second program, which opens on Thursday. I’m kind of excited. This is the first time one of my plays is being produced in full at a theatre company I had no previous relationship with. And it’ll be watched by people who don’t know who the hell I am and won’t feel the need to gussy-up their comments for my sake.
A real theatre with a real audience and my (somewhat real) play. I can dig it.
