Had a mini photo shoot with a good friend on Saturday. It was my first model shoot using film in almost a decade, and my first one on medium format ever. All in all it went pretty well.

One of my main reasons for going back to film is to help cure me of my bad habit of “Spray & Pray” shooting that I got into after years of digital. On any given shoot I’d walk away with maybe 500 photos, of which I’d like maybe a few dozen. I needed to up my batting average.

From this shoot, out of thirty-six exposures all came out well and I really liked nine of them. Much better numbers thank I’d get with digital.

Now I just gotta carry my film discipline over to digital.
