Some shots are as much planning as luck.

I was shooting an event at a club last night and saw her standing in front of one of the fan vents, cooling off. When I first saw her, her back was to me. I immediately sighted her, focused, and got ready, knowing I’d have just one shot since I was using flash.

As soon as she turned her head toward me, snap!

But for all that planning, it was the sheer luck that I fired as just the right moment. I don’t think I could’ve gotten a better shot if I set it up.

A bit of post done on this to saturate and wash out the colors. I felt it matched the tone of the shot better.
