The Blue Angels were back in town, and this year I decided to rent something a little longer than my 18-200mm. So I got a 400mm Nikon 2.8 and a 2x teleconverter.
I spent the entire day lugging around 20lbs worth of camera, often having to hold it up to my face and keep it steady.
Not fun.
